CD+G is the most popular karaoke format in the UK and USA. It is a standard CD but it also contains graphics (words) encoded on the disc. When played back on a suitable player and connected to a TV, the screen displays the lyrics, which change colour when you should sing. When played on a normal CD player, even though the graphics will not be read, the soundtrack will so the music will be played just like with a standard audio CD. |
